Biography

Graduate from the prestigious national film school IDHEC, he gets off to an early start directing many short films .

1982 – LA FACE PERDUE (short film) adapted from Jack London’s short novel. Grand prix of the Albi Film Festival.

1985 – LE BRASIER (short film) awarded the Victor Hugo Grand Prix which allowed him to direct his first feature film.

1991 – LE BRASIER
Actors : Marushka Detmers and Jean-Mar Barr.

The film obtains the Jean Vigo Prize.

1993 – LES ANNÉES LYCÉE, television feature for ARTE

1999 – TOREROS

2006 – LE SERPENT (The Serpent) Adaptation of english author Ted Lewis’s novel, Plender

2014 – LE DERNIER DIAMANT (Thee last diamond)

2018 – LA PROMESSE DE L’AUBE (Promise at dawn) Adaptation of franch author Romain Gary’s famous novel.
